Job Description
Sheppard Memorial Library - Children's Library-530 Evans Street, Greenville, NC 27858- is currently seeking several Library Assistants.

Sheppard Memorial Library- Applicants awarded this position will work in the CHILDREN'S LIBRARY located at 530 Evans Street, Greenville.

Duties to include:
  • Assist the Summer Reading Leader in registering children for the Summer Reading Club.
  • Distribute prizes to children.
  • Shelve library materials.
  • Assist children with name tags and handouts for weekly programs.
This position requires working some weekend and evening hours. APPLICANT MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM. Applicant should be organized, courteous, energetic and patient.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

The FWS Community Service employment candidate MUST ALREADY BE QUALIFIED FOR and RECEIVE a FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD from the ECU Financial Aid Office.
Applicant must QUALIFY for FEDERAL WORK STUDY and have a current Federal Work Study Hiring Authorization Form to apply.
