U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is seeking a Maintenance Laborer. The laborer will be responsible to assist in the transportation, setup, and takedown of event equipment, including tables, chairs, and stages, - Ensure that all event spaces are set up according to the provided floor plans and specifications - Safely handle and transport equipment to and from event venues - Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure that all setup requirements are met - Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Additional Duties

1. Exterior / interior painting
2. Re-painting of walls, ceilings, equipment, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
3. Must be familiar with mixing colors or oils to obtain desired color.
4. Must be able to calculate estimated amounts of paint for new work and renovations.
5. Working with paints, stains, varnishes, enamels, and other finishes
6. Drywall finishing and general maintenance.
7. Wall preparations
8. Receiving and responding to service calls,
9. Overseeing routine and preventive maintenance.
10. Must be able to move furniture.

May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Qualifications:

1. Must have HS diploma.
2. Must have minimum 3yrs work experience.
3. Must be qualified and knowledgeable in operation & installation of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and mechanical equipment.
4. Basic literacy and the strength and dexterity required to perform heavy lifting tasks.
5. Team player with a strong work ethic.
6. Must have a history of safe work practices and training.
7. Must possess basic computer skills.
8. Must be able to communicate effectively with Management, our customers, contractors, and co-workers.
9. Must have a willingness to learn new skills and assist co-workers.
10. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
12. Good communication and teamwork skills
13. Prior experience in event setup or a similar field is a plus.
14. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
15. Valid Driver's license
