Carnegie Mellon University's department ofMechanical Engineering is searching for aPostdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunityfor someone whothrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You willcontributeto the department by carrying out advanced independent and/or directed research to achieve the objectives of the research project, and such other tasks as assigned to you.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and analyzing data, including periodical/literature search, and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze the collected data.

  • Completing and publishing a deep learning model for high air pollution events in the Mon Valley.

  • Maintain the Pittsburgh ASCENT site in collaboration with PhD students and ACHD.

  • Mentoring of a summer MS student.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
