Investment Analyst - HYBRID in the Raleigh, NC Area
As an investment analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for providing comprehensive investment analysis and recommendations to clients. Your role will involve researching financial markets, analyzing investment opportunities, and assisting in the formulation of investment strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to evaluate the performance and potential of various investment opportunities.
  • Asset Allocation: Assist in determining optimal asset allocation strategies based on client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
  • Investment Research: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess the risk associated with different investment options and provide recommendations to mitigate risk and maximize returns.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of existing investments, track market developments, and make adjustments to investment portfolios as needed.
  • Client Communication: Communicate investment recommendations and strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner, addressing their questions and concerns effectively.
  • Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations on investment research, market insights, and portfolio performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all investment activities.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) are often preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in investment analysis, strong financial modeling, or related fields is desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
  • Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and asset classes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and work towards common goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in financial analysis software, Excel, and other relevant tools.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
