CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Security Engineer to join our Commercial & Institutional - Buildings/MEP Team at our office in Albany, NY.

Under direct supervision, the Security Engineer will assist in the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. The professional in this role will aid senior engineering staff in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. The Security Engineer will work on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
• No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
• Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective engineering discipline
• Has a strong theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering field
• Familiar with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist mid and senior level engineering and project management staff
• Highly motivated, driven, and outgoing with the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred

$70,000-$78,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
