Justification
This position is to support the VHF Services Group as a program manager. This role will focus
primarily on the Latin American region as well as the Caribbean, although they may be required
to support the rest of the Americas region as required. The Latin America region requires
extensive management due to the nature of relationships that we have in the region.

Description
In this role, you'll be expected to support the regional program manager in support of the
upkeep of the remote ground station network. This will include extensive communication and
interaction with various vendors, entities, as well as internal groups to facilitate upkeep of the
network. This position will support the project management team with the implementation of
new VHF remote ground stations (RGS) as well as hardware upgrades and other projects related
to the sustainment of the VHF ACARS ground station network throughout the Americas.
Support provided will be facilitation of communication, when required, as well as
recommendations for addressing complex issues within the region.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Works closely with program management, cross-functional teams, and assigned project
managers to develop support implementation of ground station related projects.
2. Works closely with various internal teams to provide information and guidance with
respect to vendor agreements within the region.
3. Produces project reports for managers and stakeholders.
4. Coordinate and collaborates with various other stakeholders, to include international
ground station deployment teams and Americas technicians.
5. Communicates significant challenges and issues that need leadership intervention and
assistance.


Required Qualifications
* Spanish language native fluency.
* High level attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
* Project management experience.
* Project Management certification, PMP, Prince etc.
* Familiarity with ACARS or other aircraft communications technology.
* Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Experience working in the Latin America region
