DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a key leadership role on the Corporate Finance Analysis team and center of excellence for the organization. Leads ownership and analysis across key focus areas such as Competitive Landscape, Strategic Planning, SG&A expense, and company-wide Sales & Channel analysis.

This role also ensures quality planning & analysis that steers the organization toward goals and to communicate changes in business performance. Among others, this includes various analytics to identify opportunities/influence results, monthly business performance reviews, and presentations to Management.

  • Lead data ownership and analysis across key focus areas such as Competitive Landscape, Strategic Planning, SG&A expense, and Sales & Orders cubes in order to provide actionable insights to organization
  • Reflect thorough understanding of competitive landscape through development of quarterly performance summaries. This includes key competitive moves, financial comparables, and analytics
  • Partner with Strategic Planning team to assess financial sufficiency of key initiatives and provide expertise when necessary. Support Financial Analysis COE best practices across pricing strategy-tools and initiative financial justification
  • Own end-to-end SG&A expense analytics inclusive of planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes inclusive of BI tools. Key thought leadership on corporate allocations program and methodologies
  • Maintain Confidential Information Memorandum (Data book) to support capital raising or key transaction events: partner with key stakeholders across organization to ensure accuracy of data and single source of truth
  • Review Sales & Orders cube including customer/channel/geography/product dimensions and other relevant BI Dashboards to identify macro trends and/or opportunities/risks; partner with business when necessary
  • Showcase analytical framework; highlight opportunities, risks, anomalies, etc. with solution-oriented mindset
  • Focus on continuous improvement and innovation; evolve inefficient processes or establish processes where appropriate
Qualifications
  • BS in Accounting/Finance, economics, or related field required
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience with strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Strong modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to automate and streamline financial information. Strong technical understanding of IRR and payback methodologies
  • Advanced experience with Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
  • OneStream experience would be a plus
  • Experience manipulating complex and large data sources and ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
  • Being able to explain the what and the why (tell the story) gaining and communicating elicit meaningful information from the data.
  • Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
  • Exhibits strong time management skills; able to work through roadblocks to meet commitments timely
  • Action oriented professional with a take charge can-do attitude
