The farm serves approximately 25 scientists from A&T, and 4 to 6 scientists from surrounding universities, encompassing studies in crops, animals aquaculture, organics, soils and pesticides. To further facilitate these studies, the farm is divided into 7 different units, with each having a coordinator and staff or student labor to orchestra given protocols. These units are: swine, beef cow, dairy, poultry, small ruminant, field crops and horticulture. Each of these areas is an intricate part of interdisciplinary studies at the university and in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
