Description

NaphCare is hiring Occupational Therapists (OT, OTR, OTR/L) just like you at the ASPC Tucson located in Tucson, AZ. Full-time days and PRN positions are available. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and PRN employee availability.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state-specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

  • Graduated from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license.
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Must have the physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Conduct evaluations
  • Develop individual plans of care which include skills for community reintegration.
  • Deliver skilled interventions that support goals on plans of care.
  • Collaborate with other service providers
  • Use all functions and applications of TechCare relevant to maintaining daily progress notes, correspondence with providers, and documentation procedures.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical, psychosocial, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the patients served.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  • Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  • Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
