Hours:

7am - 3pm (Flexibile)

About the role:
Maintains facilities, facilities systems and equipment in order to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable workplace. Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and or furniture; light carpentry work; and other related duties.

Your responsibilities will include:
Performs plant and/or office facilities maintenance duties such as fixing flooring, walls, ceiling, lights, doors, etc.
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment by using hand or power tools as required.
Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical and HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, and welding, for the construction, repair, and/or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. (Senior Level)
Hang signage and/or fixtures in the office or manufacturing space.
Maintain mechanical and electrical areas in an organized and clean manner, including support in exterior facilities clean up.
Works with outside contractors on facilities and equipment repairs.
Where and when applicable, remove snow from entrances and docking areas by using appropriate equipment.
Makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. (Senior Level)
Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment and reports problems to supervisor as appropriate. (Senior Level)
Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. (Senior Level)
Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. (Senior Levels)

Required qualifications:

1 year of related experience
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience
