Occupational Summary The Research Comunications and Engagement Specialist II, as an employee of Duke University, will help develop, implement and coordinate strategies essential to the management of engagement projects and community-building initiatives conducted by the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI).The engagement specialist will conduct membership and engagement related research, track and analyze data, and make recommendations to inform planning and strategy development. This role will also prepare and develop communications for promoting CTTI to key audiences such as pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as academic organizations, government agencies, patient advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders in support of CTTI's mission to increase clinical trial quality and efficiency.
This position is fully remote. Work PerformedExperience working in healthcare, clinical research or public health preferred in conjunction with communications, development and public relations experience. Experience in building and managing positive relationships with networks, community partnerships, professional organizations, and other stakeholders highly desirable.
