Responsibilities:
  1. Cash Flow Forecasting and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow models to forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.
    • Analyze historical cash flow data and identify trends to enhance accuracy and reliability of forecasts.
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs and assumptions for cash flow projections.
    • Monitor actual cash flows against forecasts and analyze variances, providing explanations and recommendations as needed.
  2. Balance Sheet Management:
    • Partner with accounting and treasury teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of balance sheet data related to cash flow.
    • Conduct regular reviews of balance sheet accounts impacting cash flow, such as cash and cash equivalents, short-term investments, debt, and working capital components.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize working capital efficiency and liquidity management.
    • Implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with cash flow fluctuations and liquidity constraints.
  3. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, with a focus on balance sheet cash flow components.
    • Prepare insightful financial analyses and presentations for senior management, highlighting key drivers and trends impacting cash flow performance.
    • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making and drive operational improvements.
    • Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, or divestitures from a cash flow perspective.
  4. Process Improvement and Optimization:
    • Continuously review and enhance cash flow forecasting methodologies and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement technological solutions to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to standardize reporting formats and enhance data visualization techniques for better insights.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on cash flow management and balance sheet analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills; PowerBI and MSD 365 preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven international environment
  • Must be willing to commute to Raleigh, NC
