Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit

Position Summary
The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill one (1) fixed-term position in the Organizational Behavior area with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. This position's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching in the Undergraduate and Full-Time MBA (Weekend, Charlotte, and MBA@UNC) programs; conducting high impact research in leading academic journals; and facilitating the development of a leadership center through fundraising, developing internal and external partnerships, building curricula for leadership in student populations, organizing staff, and envisioning center goals, among other tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) in Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipline prior to beginning work activities and can anticipate an appointment of Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor, depending on credentials.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Applicants should possess the understanding and skills necessary for developing a leadership center. Applicants should also possess the ability to teach leadership with a specific focus on resilience, inclusive leadership, organizational culture, team performance, and constructive workplace engagement. Finally, it is preferred that applicants possess a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or Master's level at a business school in the area of Organizational Behavior.
