Job Description

Position Summary

As Sr Java Developer in Enterprise Payments Technology, you'll create, enhance, and support an ecosystem of applications that powers millions of consumer's payments/transfers each day. The Software Engineer will partner constantly with various stakeholders while applying your technical skills to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Must be self-driven, communicates effectively and frequently with team, technical and business partners. Should proactively seek opportunities to optimize performance, maintain and troubleshoot application components as required, quickly resolve problems and provide timely follow-up. This individual will also create design documents, and user stories to communicate coding and design details.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java, J2EE, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and JBoss.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito or Powermock
• Proficient in DevOps tools : Eclipse, Git/BitBucket, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Good understanding of application design patterns and Object oriented programming
• Great communication skills - both oral and written
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

• Experienced in Spring Batch
• Experienced with relational databases and SQL scripting
• Experienced in monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
