We are looking for a passionate Junior or Senior college student to join our corporate headquarters team in Paramus, New Jersey, as an Intern supporting our Internal Audit department.
Hours: Part time, up to 25 hours per week during normal office hours. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. This internship is not a summer internship and will be semester-based.
This is a PAID internship.
Responsibilities:
- Directly assist internal auditors on day-to-day basis with tasks and audit projects.
- Support internal audit staff in documenting audit procedures and conclusions through the preparation of detailed and fully supported work-papers.
- Perform tests of internal controls in compliance with SOX standards.
- Assist with updates, analysis and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary / appropriate as they arise.

Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, majoring in Accounting or Audit
- Strong attention to detail while effectively managing assigned tasks.
- Able to follow instructions, comfortable to ask questions and follow-up questions with professional courtesy.
- Strong work ethic & communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
