Buildings Services - Energy Efficiency Internship

What you will do

We are currently seeking a student intern to join our Team for a summer 2024 internship. Our training program will give you the opportunity to demonstrate customer focus and prepare you to succeed in the building services industry. In this program you will have a chance to apply your technical knowledge and work with customers to better understand energy efficiency in HVAC services and projects. The program consists of ten-weeks of training with time split between working hands on with service technicians, supporting account representatives, getting mentoring from service and general managers, and working with energy engineers on energy saving opportunities.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Dates: June 3rd through August 16th

Pay: $20.00/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited U.S. college, university, or community college
• Pursuing a technical bachelors, associates, or technical certificate
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Available to work part-time (approx. 30 hours/week) throughout Summer 2024
• Has transportation to travel locally to office and/or local jobsites

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC, Energy or STEM background
• Hands on, excited to see learn how equipment works
• At ease communicating with people of different backgrounds and skillsets
• Equally satisfied putting on a hard hat or presenting proposal to a customer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
• Strong sense of business and technical acumen
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
