Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their Cyber Security Solutions Engineer Architect position located in Morrisville, NC in support of the Postal CSS program. This position can be 100% remote for strongly qualified candidates. This position will Lead special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and to shepherd research and piloting of new technologies. Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and has overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the customer's private enclave while maintaining compliance with the customer's enterprise-wide architecture policies and guidelines.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

Provides security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
• Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements.
• Builds IA into systems deployed to operational environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years work experience, master's degree with 6+ years work experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 12+ years work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder (Must resided with the U.S. for the past 5 years with no more than 6 months outside travel of the U.S during this time frame).
• Experience designing, developing, implementing and/or integrating IA and security systems and system components.
• Experience with validating and verifying system security requirements definitions and analysis, along with establishing system security designs.

Certifications of at least ONE or more of the following:

• CompTIA Security +
• CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
• CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
• CISSP
• CISSP-ISSEP
• CISSP-ISSAP
• CISSP-ISSMP (preferred)
