Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit | The purpose of the UNCG Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is to provide students and their families with the resources necessary for financing the pursuit of higher education. Funding options administered by the FAO include need-based, non-need-based, grant, scholarship, loan, work-study, federal, state, institutional, and outside monies. ln addition, the primary purposes of the FAO are:

Position Summary | The major purposes of this position will be the coordination and administration of all efforts associated with UNCG-endowed and departmental scholarships (including the Blue and Gold Merit Scholarship Program). This position will serve as a liaison to campus departments. This position will be a primary administrator for the new scholarship system that is currently in the implementation phase. |
