Project HVAC Intern

We are currently looking for a Project HVAC Intern to join our Team in Greensboro, NC.

Job Summary: A Project HVAC Intern is responsible for assisting the HVAC Mechanic in installation of equipment, ductwork, and associated dampers for a complete working HVAC system.

Pay Range: $16.00-$25.00 Per Hour

Project HVAC Intern is responsible for, but not limited to the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and industrial properties.
  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
  • Following instructions for quality installation of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork.
  • Complies with company and industry safety standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to use power and hand tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to work on HVAC units and systems.
  • Will be required to work in settings with extreme heat or extreme cold, depending on time of year.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling. crawling or climbing ladders.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
