Job Description

Job Description: As a Global Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing our company's financial reporting and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional who can lead our accounting team to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to global accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the global accounting team, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and GAAP.
  • Experience in leading and managing accounting teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
