Our clientis looking for a very dynamic accounting professional to join their team in the role of Sr. Accountant. An ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in accounting - CPA license a plus.
This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the financial reporting, working closely with other departments to maintain strong internal controls and provide valuable financial insights.
Some Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and maintain the general ledger,ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including Journal Entries.
- Perform account reconciliationson a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Perform financial analysis to identify variances and trends and produce variance reports for leadership review.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process,adhering to established deadlines and procedures.
- Work with 3rd party tax consultants and auditors to provide necessary financial documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required,CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with GL accounting,account reconciliations,and JE.
- Financial analysis and data analysis experience.
- Critical thinker, very detailed professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
