Job Description:
The Operations Manager analyzes the company's organizational processes and will find ways to enhance work quality and productivity. They will build operational policies and strategies that keep the organization functioning smoothly.

Duties:
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Perform risk assessments related to manufacturing.
  • Plan inventory and oversee manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure the organization's processes remain legally compliant.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Communicate with stakeholders about shifting company priorities and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to expand or shift course; based on market changes.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
  • Maintain and increase the quality of customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • "Big picture" thinking to address top-level concerns.
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities.
  • Be proficient at assembling and manufacturing all products.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education and Experience:
  • BS degree in operations management, business, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP.



Hours/Pay/Benefits
  • Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
