Within this role, you will be responsible for driving the sale of services and in-house products by cultivating customer relationships, understanding, and translating their needs into a technical solution. The Sales Solution Architect will vigorously participate in pre-sales activity, design technical solutions, develop client proposals, estimate project level of effort and cost, propose, and negotiate strategy.

This is a full-time position for a consultant who can code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply deep data and document management expertise to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct market research on targets, market trends, and competition; informing firms' marketing campaigns, sales strategy, and opportunity approaches.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Technical and Business personnel to provide them with direction, support, and leadership throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Product Management regarding customer requirements, potential new features, effective messaging, and product positioning.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products, offerings, and sales methodologies.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, demos, and sales contracts.
  • Work closely and continuously with client stakeholders to meet expectations, drive growth strategies, and develop initiatives to achieve collective goals.
  • Inform and contribute to company growth strategy and market proposition.
Qualifications
Skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong and productive working relationships with customers/clients, including the ability to establish client trust.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to plan your own activities to achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills, with applied techniques, tools, and systems to successfully close numerous solution sales.
  • Be calm, focused, and exhibit strong teaming characteristics, with applied experience in engaging technical experts and delivery leadership to appropriately establish client expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate crucial conversations with target prospects, as well as enterprise procurement organizations.
  • Working knowledge of common software and sales applications; including MS Office Applications, Video Conferencing software, LNKD Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategy and execution of the following subject matter expertise: Data Management, ETL, Archiving, Document Capture, Document Storage Management, Application Retirement, Content Storage & Repurposing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required by business needs.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' pre-sales, sales experience with data/document management expertise
    3-5 years of consulting industry experience
