The successful candidate will serve as a Field Service Engineer, a focal point to further enable the Division to satisfy internal research and development, investment, or direct customer projects aligned to the Division Manager's and Operations Manager's objectives. This position will satisfy Field Service Engineering responsibilities on and off site related to further establishing Field Service Engineering support services for several projects concurrently. This position serves as the as a technical focal point bridging the gap between engineering resources and operators, maintainers in the assigned portfolio while reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager. Works to develop and mature standardization, program or site-specific requirements, and risk management strategies which enable increased probability of success to deliver new technological deliverables within approved scope. This role is pivotal to supporting the entire team's ability to grow the scope of available Products or Services with a variety of Industry Partners for globally oriented market in a high stake's environment. Travel up to 75% is required.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum 5 years directly serving in a technical role on-site as a Group 3-5 RPA or General Aviation Special Mission Aircraft Field Engineer
• Previous project stakeholder demonstrating aspects of research, development, and first article tech deliverables; must include experience with initial integration and tuning of hardware/software subsystems
• Experience is all aspects of ISR systems operational sustainment; avionics, GCS, comm systems, mission payloads, or other related subsystems with limited resources in austere environments
• Independent ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and organize multiple management tasks simultaneously according to importance of projects or management tasks assigned
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance, with a valid US passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience in Field Engineering Support to RPA/UAS in a global enterprise
• Demonstrated technical expertise to ensure the Division's Field Engineering Services are executed, enabling development, sustainment, and growth of technological deliverables
• BS in a Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
• Experience in developing disruptive AISR platforms or capabilities proven to be successful under USG PoR
• "First flight" field test planning and execution including mitigation of EMI/EMC through design or implementation techniques
• Experience within Initial Cadre Teams for Rapid Development and Technology transfer
• Ability to work well with other team members under time sensitive constraints
