| Lead safe and effective group exercise classes (land or water). -------------------------------------------------- Educate participants on proper form, anatomy, contraindications, and modification of exercise moves. -------------------------------------------------- Show respect and responsibility for class equipment. -------------------------------------------------- |
| EDUCATION: |
| High School Diploma or equivalent, Required Preferred: Associate?s degree or Bachelor?s degree in exercise science, health promotion or clinical area strongly preferred. |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| Required: A minimum of six months experience in teaching group exercise classes. Preferred: A minimum of one year experience in teaching group exercise classes |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| REQUIRED Drivers License | Valid Drivers License BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Required: A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance. PREFERRED Preferred: A certification from ACSM is preferred. |
