Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Monroe, NC. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Update and Maintain Pump Tracker (Excel).
  • Collaborate with Lead Pump Engineer on issues and their recovery plans.
  • Support and drive Root Cause Analysis with Lead Pump Engineer.
  • Collaborate with the Warren Operations team on a detailed plan for operations, testing, and planned witness inspections.
  • Coordinate FAT dates between Warren and McDermott for Witness Points.
  • Coordinate directly with Third Party inspectors for all witness points.
  • Issue NOI's (Notification of Inspection).
  • Administratively handle documentation submittals and returns from customers.
  • Needs capturing customer comments in a CRS (Comment Resolution Sheet), distributing them to the technical team (sometimes yourself), revising the documents, and resubmitting them for approval.
  • Monitor, Control, and Track all related QA documentation in digital format and the physical binders for each package.
  • Collaborate with Warren and Monroe QA to fulfill project documentation requirements.
  • Communicate with the Customer Project Manager daily as needed or once weekly meeting to review status/schedule/open items.
  • Coordinate between the Lead Pump Engineer and Technical Leads at the Customer to resolve issues.
  • Submit and defend Deviation Requests.
  • Technically defend project execution to specifications necessary for the project.
  • Update MS Project Schedule weekly and track slip/slack relative to committed dates.
  • Lead meetings with the Warren Team three times a week, capture minutes, commitments, and upcoming actions, and distribute them to the team.
  • Lead team meeting with Monroe Team once per week, capture minutes, commitments, and upcoming actions, and distribute them to the team.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings in Fab Shop, capturing actions and monitoring progress to build a plan.
  • Resource Loaded MS Project Schedule.
  • Daily meeting minutes with actions, due dates, and owners.
  • Create and maintain a formal risk register and drive mitigation plans with the team.
  • Weekly delivery forecast showing the critical path, risks, and mitigation plans showing variance to baseline.
  • Identify resources (people or equipment) needed to compress the schedule.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $53.85 - $80.77/hr.

Hours: 20 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in operations, testing, and planned witness inspections.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Prior experience working with or for an Engineering, Procurement, & Construction firm.
