JOB SUMMARY |
The Maintenance Supervisor directs the repair and maintenance of existing equipment and grounds and directs activities in new equipment installations and grounds modification. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all activities that occur in the Maintenance department and maintenance-related activities throughout the plant including coordinating task lists for and facilitating annual shut down. The Maintenance Supervisor will be the first point of contact for the plant in relation to building or equipment issues, and therefore must be available to the business 24 hours/day. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be an emergency contact for the Facility and is expected to work as an emergency coordinator with emergency services. |

Key Working Relationships
Physical Demands Be on the production floor a majority of the time and walk across plant multiple times per day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
Working Conditions Office and manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works on roof, in precarious places and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
