Position Summary:

Central Carolina in Sanford, NC. is seeking a Full Time Mid-Shift (11:00am - 11:00pm) Certified Nursing Assistant I to join our Med/Surg Unit.

The CNA will:

Provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I

Required Certifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant I
• BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Essential Functions:

* Monitor vital signs/blood sugars

* Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition

* Measure and document input/output and weights

* Assist nurse as needed

* Answer call lights

* Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge

* Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient

* Distribute drinks and/or snacks

* Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

* Adhere to CCH attendance policy

* All other duties as assigned
