Job Summary

The IV/PICC Nurse is a Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing patients individualized IV access needs, developing a specific plan related to IV Therapy needs and implementing and evaluating an individualized plan for each patient. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position. No Weekends, No Holidays, No Call.

Minimum Education
Nursing Associate Degree or Completion of an Accredited Nursing Diploma Program. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

Certifications/License
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire. Requires a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license upon hire.

Minimum Work Experience
1 year of experience in a health care setting

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
