Workforce Operation Manager

Provide operational oversight for diverse facilities support, including the planning, organization and supervision of an integrated workforce operations program.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Workforce Operation Manager:
  • Pay commensurate with experience.

Workforce Operation Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs supervisory duties including instructing, assigning and reviewing work, planning, maintaining standards, coordinating activities, allocating personnel and acting on employee performance concerns.
  • Manages schedule of all onsite workers, facilities and operational support staff.
  • Coordinates with subcontractors and staff to ensure 24/7 staff coverage as required.
  • Controls and monitors use of overtime for hourly personnel.
  • Provides reports with detailed analysis of workforce levels, a critical skill set needs and projections.
  • Manages department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel and arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Exhibits cultural sensitivity/humility when working with leadership and employees.
  • Leads and supports programs and processes that meet program and federal objectives.
  • Ensures appropriate discipline is maintained across the facility.
  • Facilitates ongoing communication with team-members to achieve effective and efficient program operations.
  • Prepares and discusses performance including evaluations.
  • Conducts team meetings.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Workforce Operation Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Associate degree and 4 years' experience in managing scheduling for workforce operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide support for and problem solve with direct care and supervisory staff as well as system partners.
  • Ability to effectively utilize a web-based data scheduling system to manage project information.
  • Ability to development tactical and strategic plans, goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver comprehensive scheduling practices for large organizations.
  • Proficient computer skills working with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple work sites and teams.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Strong organization, planning and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to physical and mental education - including the ability to participate in these activities daily.
  • Must be able to lift items over 20 pounds.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
