SIR Team Manager

Responsible for all functions of the Significant Incident Team, including developing processes, data integrity, and ensuring reporting requirements are enforced. Provide analysis, recommendations, and reporting to leadership and customers.

  • Pay commensurate with experience.

SIR Team Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops, implements, and oversees onsite Significant Incident Reporting (SIR) reporting processes.
  • Ensures official reporting requirements are met within the required timeframes.
  • Audits, coaches, and trains the team on the processes to ensure data accuracy.
  • Performs a comprehensive audit and final review before submitting the SIR.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation and tracking all data related to the program incident reports in accordance with ORR requirements.
  • Oversees On-the-Job Training (OJT) and ongoing training for the team.
  • Coordinates the staffing of SIRs with clinicians, case managers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up with the PSA Compliance manager when appropriate.
  • Participate in MDT meetings for overall awareness of cases.
  • Partners with Data Management to analyze trends and provide recommendations to leadership for process improvements.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with the customer to provide updates on high-priority SIR follow-up status and ensures that these incidents are promptly investigated and resolved.
  • Ensures adherence to ORR guidance for investigating and reporting incidents for assigned sites.
  • Conducts investigations of complaints and provides a detailed, unbiased report regarding the investigation findings.
  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to create training programs and resources tailored to address identified trends and issues.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SIR Team Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree or three years of related experience.
  • Profound knowledge of investigative processes and incident reporting is a plus.
  • Exhibits excellent judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks successfully.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
