Deputy Site Director

Under the direction of the Site Director , will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of assigned site/project. Ensure the highest levels of business practices are in place and continuously monitor and make recommendations to operational controls, process improvements, and personnel performance and accountability.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Deputy Site Director:
  • Pay commensurate with experience.

Deputy Site Director Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversees operations across assigned department(s) to deliver safe and secure childcare and accountability in accordance with the contract statement of work.
  • Understands and maintains operating budgets across the contract.
  • Supervises functional leads across various departments.
  • Analyzes organizational and operational problems to develop or approve timely and economical solutions.
  • Enforces implementation plans and corrective action plans.
  • Applies change, risk, and resource management principles to all operations functions.
  • Coordinates and enhances employee efforts; motivates and develops staff; facilitates communications between management and employees.
  • Provides detailed updates to leadership by participating in meetings and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, reports, assessments).
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Deputy Site Director Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10+ 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with large companies in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience overseeing and managing large projects and a proven track record of success with emergency/contingency contract environments with the federal government.
  • Strong understanding of operations in a multi-functional organization that may include public works, medical, food service, recreation, education, housing, logistics, childcare, and social service functions
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills are required to manage approximately 2,000 employees.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral, visual, and written.
  • Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented.
  • Strong analytic and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various individuals in a diverse community.
  • Proficient computer skills working with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and the ORR UC Portal
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple work sites and teams.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to comfortably interact with senior-level personnel.
  • Outstanding interaction skills, tact, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts in conjunction with information or data to draw conclusions and make time-sensitive decisions affecting resources and children in our care.
