Position Summary:

As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will work under the supervisor of a nurse to monitor patients who are high risk. This position will work with a variety of patients from children to adults on all floors of the hospital. Behavioral Health Techs will maintain active supervision of assigned patients to minimize fall risk and self-harms to ensure safe and quality care.

Qualifications

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Required Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant I is preferred

American Heart Association BLS is required

Handle With Care within 6 months of hire

Minimum Work Experience:
Previous mental health experience, preferred
