Position Summary
Western Carolina University seeks a qualified part-time (adjunct) faculty to enhance its academic program in the broadcasting concentration.

Minimum qualifications for teaching are a PhD or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline) or substantial professional experience in video/film production; and working with video and DSLR cameras and basic editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or other NLE software. Knowledge of live television studio is desired.
A terminal degree is preferred.

These appointments are on a course by course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline. These postings are continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of WCU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed teaching opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.
