Position Summary
The Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Western Carolina University is seeking to hire qualified part-time online adjunct faculty to teach sections of Medical Sociology (SOC 456) for fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Minimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience in medical sociology. The appointments are on a course-by-course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in teaching discipline).
