**Evenings, 8 Hour Shifts**

Please note:

The home unit for this position is the Adult Complex Medical Unit - North 7, the position is clustered with Adult Complex Medical Unit- Proger 7 and Adult Hematology/Oncology (BMT) - North 8. You may be scheduled to work on the unit you are clustered to off of your home unit.

Scheduling may consist of 8 and 12 hour shifts, 32(flex)hours/week: Rotating shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

On theAdult Complex Medical Unit - North 7, youll have the opportunity to collaborate with both seasoned and novice clinicians committed to providing quality care to complex and acutely ill patients. Patients cared for on North 7 present with numerous medical diagnoses, with the primary service lines including renal, pulmonary and gastrointestinal. Relationship based care is our model of practice with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. The interdisciplinary team on North 7 is comprised of Nurses, Clinical Care Technicians, Unit Coordinators, nursing students, Physicians, and other clinical and non-clinical professionals with a focus and dedication to ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Staff work directly with their unit based Clinical Instructor to develop their skillset and identify learning opportunities available on and off the unit.

About the Position:

The RN at Tufts Medical Center provides clinical excellence, which fosters and supports an environment central to our patient and family centered model of care. The RN is responsible for the planning, delivery and management of patient/family centered care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice embedded in research, evidence based practice and/or best practices. The Professional Registered Nurse (RN) possesses and applies the skills and knowledge necessary for the delivery and management of patient care from admission through discharge. The RN is knowledgeable of current trends in healthcare including but not limited to advances in technology, pharmacology, treatment care modalities, quality and patient safety.

    Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelor'sdegree in Nursing (BSN)
    • MA RN license
    • BLS certification (Healthcare Provider)
    • A minimum of one year of Professional RN experience
