Overview

Regulatory Technology aims to be an industry leading function that delivers sustainable regulatory compliance through technology automation and competitive operating leverage to create a safe and controlled operating environment that protects the Bank and its clients. This specific role is with Level-1 Controls group, responsible for the strategic delivery of a platform to assist front-office with the on-going management of supervisory procedures and non-financial risk; reporting on key metrics across control, conduct and operational triggers, and driving escalation to the appropriate level of the Business for review and remediation. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile dev ops team, collaborating with analysts, developers, and testers and will bring an innovative approach to software development, focusing on using the latest technologies and practices, as part of a relentless focus on business value. You will be someone who sees engineering as team activity, with a predisposition to open code, open discussion and creating a supportive, collaborative environment, and will be ready to take a leading role in all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis right through to production support.

What You'll Do

  • Work as part of a DevOps team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyze and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test, and support them

  • Assist with creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, and more. Assist in creating and executing migration run books

  • Play integral part of a DevOps team to plan, estimate, develop, build, test, and release multiplatform software products

  • Develops Jenkins & Team City - CI/CD pipelines, agents, access, integrations, etc.Administers repository solutions (GIT Source control, Docker repository, OpenShift). Integrates Continuous Deployment processes and Integrates Continuous Testing (CI/CD) processes. Automates through scripting

  • Monitors and reports on application up-time, performance, and other metrics

  • Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production

Skills You'll Need

  • Extensive DevOps experience with recent hands-on Cloud experience as well as DevOps Cloud engineering skills utilizing cloud fundamentals (Google / Amazon / Azure)

  • Experience with designing solutions using cloud technology paradigms like Containers, and Microservices with implementation experience of solutions using cloud technology

  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Teamcity, Openshift working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban, or XP

  • Experience in building, running, and scaling microservices using Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, monitoring services like (Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic etc.) etc. strongly preferred

  • Experience migrating customers/projects to the cloud, delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development and knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational databases

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
