Internship – Control System Integrator Intern

Charlotte, North Carolina

 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position.

 

Ramboll is accepting applications for the Summer 2022 internship program at our office located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Each participant will be assigned a mentor who will guide them through project assignments. The program will provide internship participants with the opportunity to gain experience working in one or more practice areas such as industrial automation control system.  Our goal is to afford out interns experience with a variety of projects during the summer program to broaden their understanding an experience within their field of interest.

The hybrid work environment will include activity in a combination of virtual, office, and field settings in accordance with the most recent COVID-19 guidance. In addition to hands-on experience, interns will also participate in a series of web-based, interactive workshops along with the other Summer 2022 Ramboll interns across the U.S.

  • Candidates should be working toward a B.S or M.S degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM majors and should have an interest in pursuing a career as an industrial automation controls engineer
  • Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are strongly preferred. Candidates with the completion of 4 college semesters (rising Junior status or above) are strongly preferred.

  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Desire to work with Linux, Python, SQL, Ethernet, and multi-discipline problem solving
