The Forensics practice comprises numerous services and disciplines. Accordingly, BDO must safeguard specific contractual terms and provisions based on the nature of the work performed. As a Forensics Operations Manager, you will support the senior leaders as they navigate and negotiate the contracting process to accelerate and improve the client experience. Responsibilities include being the liaison between the client and BDO leaders from the moment BDO presents a contract to when it is signed.
In addition to managing the contracting process, you will manage a team of six paraprofessionals who are dedicated to one of the Forensics' segments. You will ensure that BDO is fully utilizing the talents and skills of this team and that their work aligns with the segment leader's goals.

As there are several cities listed within this job description, we would consider candidates nationwide and able to work remote as long as willing to travel to client site as needed
Essential Duties: Operational Contract Support - Manage the current version of contracts (e.g., engagement letters, master services agreements, and statements of work) to ensure they are being used across the practice and in the appropriate contexts - Liaison between the client and BDO leaders from the moment a contract is presented to the moment it is signed - Understand what terms require firm- versus business-level approval - Track the status of contracts - Schedule contract review meetings with clients, as needed - Remove roadblocks that are slowing down the contracting process - Understand and protect the specific terms required for the services being delivered - Coordinate with BDO's Office of General Counsel and Security, as needed - Facilitate the escalation of terms to National Practice Leader, Advisory Leader, and CEO, as needed - Facilitate discussion with international member firms - Manage six segment paraprofessionals to ensure that they are being leveraged by senior leaders and aligning their activities with the right segment priorities - This role may require off hours work, as needed (20% on average)
