Alight Is Looking For a Financial Education Project Manager

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services business group within Alight, in Charlotte, NC.


Your Impact as a Financial Education Project Manager

o Assist the financial education team in the creation of solutions for clients and prospects

o Create and maintain a centralized database for workshop materials, tracking updates and feedback from sessions

o Create and update database and custom seminar presentations and materials

o Enthusiastically deliver in-person workshops and online webinars with the ability to field questions from audience/participants

o Assist with new implementations, ongoing client team requests and content for the financial education website

o Maintain awareness of current industry for client solutions and opportunities

o Become a subject matter expert for all financial services products and core lines of business offered through Alight

o Provide sales support for financial education and our online education tool through the creation of sales presentations and follow ups from client meetings

Position Requirements

o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

o Series 7 (or 6) and 66 (or 65) required

o CRPC or CFP designation preferred (or willingness to obtain CRPC within 90 days of employment)

o Experience in financial planning or advisory services in participant facing capacity

o Experience delivering seminars/training and comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups of people

o Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially PowerPoint and Excel

o 1-3 years project management experience

o Defined contribution and defined benefit plan experience preferred

o Ability to understand and communicate detailed plan provisions and documents

o Must be willing to travel up to 30% after Covid restrictions are lifted
