Dan Carrico is the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) Facility Representative at Chicago O’Hare Air Traffic Control Tower. Dan started his air traffic control career in 1995 when he joined the Marine Corps, stationed in El Toro, Calif. After serving in the military, Dan worked at Reno Air Traffic Control Tower from 2001-2005 before transferring to O’Hare becoming involved with the NATCA. He was elected the union’s facility treasurer in 2008, the union’s facility vice president in 2009, and in 2010 was elected as the O’Hare Facility Representative for NATCA, a role in which he still serves. Dan is a native of Wayne, Mich. He resides in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three kids.

Certified in 1987, the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) is the exclusive representative of over 14,700 air traffic controllers serving the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Department of Defense (DOD) and the private sector. In addition, NATCA represents FAA’s Alaska flight service specialists and approximately 1,200 FAA engineers, 600 traffic management coordinators, and 500 aircraft certification professionals.
