JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Warehouse Manager Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to: * Develop a career track * Leverage your current skills while developing new skills * Work with an incredible team of people Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Warehouse Manager. As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the operational aspects of the Profit Center. This position will involve your technical knowledge to repair any returns, your organizational skills to ship customer orders, handle technical calls, handle warranty claim process and reports, as well as your abilities to handle all back end paperwork to support all transactions. Position Responsibilities: Warehouse Responsible for Service Tech, Delivery Employees and all temporary labor Proper receipt of all incoming equipment and completion of all required paperwork Responsible for maintaining the equipment in an organized fashion (i.e. separation of equipment requiring maintenance, equipment to be shipped to the customer and equipment that is ready for sale) Ensure that damaged equipment is repaired properly Properly account for equipment to be charged to the customer Responsible for inventory management Communication of level of inventories to management Hold daily morning meetings to discuss daily objectives, safety issues, and flex-n-stretch Monitor all preventive maintenance of yard equipment and supplies Monitor and maintain well organized and safe premises Transportation Responsible for the management of all drivers Schedule and coordinate all equipment transportation Perform daily and weekly truck audits Perform weekly truck inspections for proper safety equipment, truck accessories and the condition of the exterior and interior Monitor all truck preventative maintenance, licensing and D.O.T. requirements Service Ensure all equipment is maintained and repaired according to manufacturer's requirements Repair and reconditioning of rental equipment Ensure that work orders and SMF's are utilized Maintain a perpetual parts inventory Operations Responsible for the day to day operations of the PC if the Profit Center Manager/Branch Manager is unavailable Responsible for cost control Ensure the Profit Center is in compliance with the company policies and procedures Warehouse Manager will be versed in the following topics: All aspects of the business operation and markets All Safety regulations concerning the products, their safe use and the safety of the facility, following all SBR safety procedures Proper use of the equipment Participate in the near miss program, weekly safety meetings, monthly safety quizzes, and quarterly safety committee Requirements: Ability to travel if necessary Knowledge of basic HVAC principles Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and / or Five (5+) years of relevant warehouse experience Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
