Talent Acquisition Specialist - CESAbout the Role
Position Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be an addition to Covanta Environmental Solutions' highly engaged Talent Acquisition / HRG team to support the growing needs.
This is full-time role, based at our office in Asheboro, NC. You will be part of a team of passionate and collaborative professionals responsible for a variety of talent acquisition activities to hire high-potential talent at different locations in the Southeast and Midwest.
You will supplement Covanta Environmental Solutions (CES) talent sourcing footprint, build talent pipelines, expand the reach of CES's employment brand and support talent acquisition operations in a high volume, high touch environment. Amongst other things, you will:
Support talent sourcing needs across different disciplines, levels and geographies
Partner with members of the hiring teams to develop effective job posting and sourcing strategies
Identify, source, and develop candidates primarily through self-sourcing and low fee resources
Screen and deliver a slate of qualified candidates within the target compensation range
Provide exceptional experience to the candidates and your internal/ external partners
Provide timely metrics, reports and status updates on assigned requisitions/ projects or as requested
Maintain a sound understanding of CES's value proposition, business and hiring needs, industry trends and niche sites
Participate in industry, diversity, veteran and college hiring events
Partner with other team members on projects, innovative sourcing strategies and creative cost-effective solutions
Other Talent Acquisition & HR initiatives, as needed
Work in compliance with industry rules, regulations and practices
Maintain confidentiality, accuracy and keep sensitive information secured
Be an effective, efficient and engaged partner
Position Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience is required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience supporting high volume CDL Driver and Warehouse Operations is a huge plus.
Full life-cycle recruiting experience will be a plus.
Corporate recruiting experience will be a plus
Expert level experience with one or more ATS is required.
Experience with Workday will be a plus.
Customer service orientation with ability to build strong relationships and credibility with hiring managers and candidates
Strong results orientation, with high sense of urgency
Sound working knowledge of Recruiting industry rules, regulations and practices is required
Knowledge of HR policies and practices
In-depth knowledge and expertise in direct candidate sourcing utilizing a variety of cost-effective tools and sources
Ability to drive sourcing campaigns independently and manage multiple searches effectively
Ability to motivate candidates, sell the company brand and career opportunities
Ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast paced, matrixed team-oriented environment.
Must be comfortable working in geographically dispersed team
Ability to adapt to changing business priorities
Dependable, ethical, committed, honest
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
