Primary Purpose of Position | The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the faculty/staff point of contact for COVI-19 concerns, reporting, etc. Duties include: Review guidance from the CDC, NC DHHS and other public health providers to recommend changes to campus protocols; carry cell phone for employee COVID reporting line and be available to answer questions and provide guidance; consult with Human Resources as requested for medical accommodations related to COVID; design and consult on COVID promotion incentives and educational materials; work with Environmental Health and Safety and COVID-19 Management Team to determine and implement employee surveillance and symptomatic testing strategy coordinated with testing vendor, contact tracing for faculty/staff, and faculty/staff quarantine/isolation requirements; provide return to work documentation following quarantine/isolation; verify uploaded COVID vaccine information is true and accurate; review International Travel forms to determine requirements for return to work following University or personal travel; participate as non-medical provider as needed for campus COVID vaccine clinic; and other duties as assigned. |

These services include risk assessment (e.g., hazard analysis, risk identification, loss control safety measures, etc.) to prevent and/or reduce the loss of lives, resources, and property. |

NCCU COVID Vaccination Policy Effective October 2021, as a condition of employment, North Carolina Central University requires all employees to provide documentation of full COVID-19 vaccination OR be subject to weekly COVID-19 testing provided on campus OR have an approved exemption.
