Elevate Textiles, a global provider of advanced, high quality products and mission critical textile solutions, is looking to hire a Recruiting Specialist to work as part of the Human Resources Team in support of its American & Efird manufacturing operations. The position reports to the division’s Group Human Resources Manager and will be a key member of the HR Team responsible for the successful recruiting and selection of high quality employees to meet the operational needs of the business. The Recruiting Specialist works closely with HR Teams at all locations to ensure the best applicant experience and selection of quality employees.
Position Overview
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible to direct and lead the recruiting efforts of the business to include the posting of job vacancies, participation in community outreach and hiring events and pre-screening of candidates for recommendation to the manufacturing operations. The job requires an energetic, creative approach to recruiting that finds and attracts new candidate pools within the community.
Job Responsibilities
Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings and in-person screenings as appropriate
Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing new approaches that successfully attract candidates and accurately screen for job fit.
Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices; maintain good community contacts with other recruiting and community resources.
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Qualifications
2 years of high volume recruiting experience
Experience recruiting for manufacturing and/or distribution positions strongly preferred
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
