Job Description

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme's focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder's original recipe. The brand's iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.


Krispy Kreme's Manager, Global Media is responsible for developing media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and generate sales and measuring the effectiveness of global paid media campaigns. This newly established position collaborates closely with cross functional partners from Marketing, IT, Finance and external agency partners to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and optimize campaigns for maximum performance and ROI.


A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Strategy & Best Practice Development

  • Partner with the Director of Digital Consumer Experiences to develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms including digital and traditional channels
  • Develop best practices on media channels, audiences, creative, and units.
  • Be the primary subject matter expert on paid media and participate in market calls to support digital leads as needed in media planning, execution and reporting
  • Review global media plans to ensure alignment with global media strategy
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in paid media to drive innovation and competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including brand, creative, consumer insights, IT to ensure cohesive and integrated media efforts
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as needed, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and performance

Reporting & Analysis

  • Partner with Consumer Insights team to develop a standard global media scorecard and implement across markets
  • Analyze paid media performance across key metrics and markets to provide input and guidance to improve strategy and performance

Country Support

  • Create paid media playbooks and best practices to empower country leads to implement strong media plans year over year
  • Partner with local market digital teams to support execution of highest priority initiatives in their respective markets


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
  • 3+ years related working experience, including experience with media strategy, planning, and buying including paid social and traditional media
  • Knowledge of emerging digital trends and technologies driving consumer behaviors and expectations.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in paid media strategies
  • A collaborative and innovative spirit with a strong desire and motivation to continually learn and improve
  • Self-motivated and high degree of organization and bias towards action
  • A strong aptitude and interest in data driven decision making
  • Strong presentation and overall communication skills and executive presence
