PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for techonology service and support of assigned FS companies/partners through leadership in technical insight, training, and communication of agronomy technology benefits and strategies.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHP

Assists and facilitate technology engagement at assigned FS company/partners management teams, ag information specialists, crop specialists and field staff to increase technology platform knowledge and utilization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Demonstrates proficiency in technology platform portfolio that integrates within assigned FS companies/parnters business systems. (GIS tools, Climate, myFS Agronomy, Imagery Platforms, etc.)

Provides technology services and support of key GROWMARK technologies with assigned FS companies/partners. (GIS tools, Climate, myFS Agronomy, Imagery Platforms, etc.)

Gathers information, transfers knowledge, delivers insight, and helps incorporate the use of technology platforms with assigned FS companies/partners and field staffs.

Communicates and collaborates with GROWMARK staff including Strategic Area Marketing Managers (SAAM), Field Sales Agronomists (FSA), Field Sales Managers (FSM), and Crop Protection Territory Managers (CPTMs), to establish local strategies and tactics to meet GROWMARK business objectives.

Engage and communicate knowledge from technology industry contacts including strategic partner's information tools and strategies, keeping GROWMARK Agronomy Technology at the forefront.

Ability and willingness to work effectively with an automated precision call center system to support, diagnose, and collaborate with all FS companies/partners to achieve efficiencies and unsurpassed customer expierence.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists crop specialists and ag information specialists with meetings, sales interviews, proposals, and presentations of key agronomy technologies.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in agronomy, marketing, technical systems, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of successful related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of precision services.

Proven knowledge of marketing concepts and agronomic principles.

Understanding of spatial data relationships and common industry technologies, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as yield or as-applied maps, soil test results, and analytical reports.

Ability to work individually and in a team environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and convey ideas with individuals or before groups of customers or employees.

Possesses sound computer skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through writing routine reports and correspondence.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.

Ability to occasionally work beyond what is considered normal working hours.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl exposed to extreme weather conditions and must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
