Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Inside Sales Sr. Technical Lead. This position will report to the Associate Director, Contracts, Inside Sales, and Analytics and will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and lead management. Through effective prospecting, they will build and expand the corporate client base with new contacts to generate qualified leads on behalf of the Business Development Executive team.

This position is a global 100% remote-option role. KBI supports the option for working at any of the KBI sites. Position includes up to 15% travel. This position supports a global team and will require flexibility in work schedule to accommodate various time zones.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities by researching potential accounts through sources like LinkedIn Navigator, GlobalData, and Zymewire.
  • Prospecting via cold calls and emails.
  • Ongoing nurturing via email campaigns
  • Initial follow up and qualification of leads that enter through website inquiries and conferences.
  • Provide technical information and explanations to potential clients through email and telephone calls.
  • Coordinate the establishment of CDAs with new clients before handing off the client to the respective Business Development team member.
  • Input data and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, Salesforce.
  • Monitor sales lead pipeline and report weekly, monthly dashboards (e.g., lead conversion, demand waterfall, trends in lead data).
  • Represent KBI at conferences, tradeshows, and partnering events to develop new leads.
  • Gather competitor information and analyze market trends within the biopharmaceutical ecosystem.
  • Participate in regular Business Development team meetings.
  • Administration duties

Minimum RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • 3+ years' experience in an inside sales, field sales, or other client facing role within the scientific/biotechnology industry.
  • 2+ years' Salesforce experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Science.
  • Proficient in both written and oral communication.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a self-starting attitude.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Thrive in an environment where you are given autonomy to complete your tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and a collaborative work approach.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, adapting to new responsibilities, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office suite and electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign and Adobe Sign.

Nice to have
  • CDMO or biopharma experience

Salary Range: $90,405 - $124,306

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
