JOB SUMMARY:

This role reports to and partners with the Vice President, HR Business Partner, in implementing and managing annual and long-term HR objectives while ensuring adoption of programs and processes across the Company. In this role, you will support multiple functions to manage and execute a strategic workforce plan to drive organizational effectiveness and a high-performing inclusive culture. This position is responsible for aligning business objectives and formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service for employees.

This is a hands-on HR Business Partner role for an innovative thought-leader capable of building trust and earning credibility at all levels within the organization. It is a complex and fast-paced environment where collaboration and agility are embraced. #LI-Remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Serves as main HR point of contact for employee questions, issues, etc., for multiple groups across the organization providing consultation and delivery of HR programs/processes to achieve key business objectives.
* Provides insights in a simple, creative, and relevant way that challenges current thinking, informs business decisions, and shows how decisions impact business outcomes.
* Implements tactics to enable the business to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent at all levels to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the business.
* Provides performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* Works closely with all employees to build / maintain morale and increase productivity and retention.
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
* Other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources Management, or related field is required.
* 7+ years of experience within Human Resources or related field is required.
* Knowledge of HRIS is required.
* Experience working within the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
* Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and set priorities within a rapidly changing environment.
* Must be experienced using software packages, including Excel, Word, Power Point.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in team environment.
