Job Description
Overview

As a Pega Bsuiness Systems Analyst III, you will deliver strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a technical expert on system usage and performance. Determines business requirements and implements appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.


Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
  • Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.
  • System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $78,000 to $119,600 per year.


Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
    Skills/Experience preferred:
    • BA will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management and other related tasks.
    • Requirements will be gathered using diverse means - wide degree of creativity and initiative is expected. UI/UX documentation needs to be done via Adobe XD.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risk to projects - coordination of meetings with stakeholders, project managers and/or development team - mentor team members.
    • Must be able to independently create SCRUM user stories, maintain product backlog and perform sprint planning.
    • Ensure the quality in various deliverables by performing any required testing.
    • Should be proficient in ADO/Jira.
    • BA with extensive experience and strengths in software development and business process re-engineering is preferred.

    • Ability to work in EST/MST time zone.
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
